Terms & Conditions

By approving any quotations/estimates from Powertech Auto Services, you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions:

Service Charges:
Powertech Auto Services charges a minimum of AED 300 for any service provided, including vehicle inspections. If a vehicle inspection is advertised as free, it will only be considered free of charge if the customer approves any additional estimates provided after the inspection.

Personal Items:
Customers are required to remove all personal items from their vehicle. Powertech Auto Services will not be held responsible for any missing items.

Pickup and Delivery:
Pickup and delivery services are provided free of charge unless the estimate is not approved after the vehicle has been collected, in which case the service will become chargeable.

Approval of Estimates:
Estimates are considered approved once the customer provides written approval via SMS, WhatsApp, email, or a recorded verbal confirmation over the phone.

Non-Refundable Estimates:
Once an estimate is approved and a job card is created, the estimate amount becomes non-refundable. If the customer wishes to cancel the job card or make changes to the approved job, they should do so promptly after approval. If the workshop has already started working on the vehicle or purchased spare parts, Powertech Auto Services reserves the right to proceed with the work and will not issue refunds.

Down Payment:
Powertech Auto Services may require up to an 80% down payment for any approved estimate/quotation. Powertech Auto Services reserves the right to withhold work on the vehicle if the agreed-upon down payment is not received.

Payment Methods:
Payments via post-dated cheques (PDC), cash deposit cheques (CDC), or bank transfer will not be accepted unless explicitly agreed upon in writing. In some cases, a signed confirmation document may be required from the customer.

Vehicle Release:
Vehicles will not be released unless the full invoice payment is completed.

Warranty:
A warranty on estimates is valid for 1 month from the date the work is completed, unless otherwise specified in the customer’s estimate or agreement. If the customer does not collect their vehicle within 1 week of completion, Powertech Auto Services reserves the right to adjust the warranty period. If no warranty is mentioned in the estimate, the customer accepts that no warranty applies. The warranty may also be void if the vehicle is taken to another dealership or workshop for any work, even if it’s just an inspection.

End of Warranty:
Once the warranty period expires, Powertech Auto Services is not liable for any damages or defects, legally or otherwise.

Parking Fees:
If the customer does not pay and collect their vehicle within 48 hours of the work completion, Powertech Auto Services may charge up to AED 50 per day for parking and maintenance fees.

Refunds:
In the case of a refund request, the customer agrees that Powertech Auto Services will assess each case individually and determine whether a refund is warranted. If any repairs or parts are out of warranty, a refund may be denied. If Powertech Auto Services offers free repairs to resolve a dispute, the customer agrees to accept the repairs and part replacements as decided by Powertech Auto Services. This may include the use of aftermarket or OEM parts instead of original parts, as long as the vehicle is repaired and returned in an acceptable working condition.

Customer-Supplied Parts:
If the customer provides spare parts, oils, consumables, or other items and requests Powertech Auto Services to install them, the customer agrees that Powertech Auto Services will not be liable for any damage during or after the repair process. Additionally, the customer accepts that no warranty will be provided on parts supplied by them. In cases where the customer is charged only for labor, the customer cannot request a refund for labor fees or cancel the job, regardless of whether the repair or service was successful.
